One Lane Bridges
Traffic from the direction of the RED arrow gives way,
However if you are traveling from the direction of the black arrow.
You should Proceed with Caution.
Going Straight Through
When going straight through at an intersection, you must give way to:
All vehicles coming straight through from your right.
Turning right at an uncontrolled intersection
If you are turning right and the opposing vehicle is turning left, you must give way.
When turning left at an intersection, you must give way to:
All Vehicles coming straight through from your Right.
When turning right at an intersection, you must give way to:
All vehicles coming straight through from your left.
When turning right at an intersection, you must give way to:
All Vehicles coming straight through from your Right.
When turning right at an intersection, you must give way to:
All Vehicles coming straight towards you.
At an uncontrolled T-intersection, all traffic from a terminating road (bottom of the T) should now give way to all traffic on a continuing road (top of the T).
Think: Top of the T goes before me.
Two Vehicles coming towards each other and turning right
When two vehicles are coming towards each other at an intersection and both are turning right, NO ONE HAS TO GIVE WAY.
This is because neither vehicle will cross the other's path. Both vehicles can therefore turn safely.
Leaving the path of the centre line
If you are leaving the path of the centre line, you must give way to vehicles following the centre line.
Vehicles leaving the path of the centre line are said to be turning.
Therefore the GIVE WAY rules apply.
