Well, it depends on what you are needing the car for Jarrod. If you aren't sure, I'd probably go with the van.

A car would be a lot better on gas mileage, as long as you don't need something bigger for holding things or whatever.
Right about gas mileage, but maybe that extra friend can pitch in some money so you can afford the gas for the van.

My wife an I are coming in from the states for the big event as well, I'm so stoked about this. Its always been a dream to vist New Zealand.
Like every one i am also waiting for the world cup and hope to visit NZ to follow the matches.
I'm very much looking forward to my first world cup, and when i make it over there ill be sure to rent a car from ya.

My sister went there last year and had a blast. New Zealand looks absolutely gorgeous and green.
New Zealand is great, love the nature and everything about it. I have also been in Australia which is very beautiful too :)
I love New Zealand, My most favorite place is the "Ohope Beach" when ever possible I used to manage to spend my vacation at Ohope Beach Its simply Amazing.

I am an ardent fan of rugby and travelling to NZ is on my wish-list for quite some years now. I think if I start planning from now onwards I can save money and schedule a trip to NZ for the Rugby World Cup in 2011. If I am there surely will rent a car from you folks and will travel across hot destination in NZ. Wow sounds excellent and thrilling. Cant wait :)
